Capilano's Parent Community

We have a very active parent community led by an incredibly dedicated Parent Advisory Council (PAC) Executive.  Parents are encouraged to get involved in school life, learning, and activities.​

There are many ways parents can get involved, including:

• Attending monthly PAC meetings
• Helping the PAC with fundraising initiatives
• Volunteering to help in classrooms and in the library (contact classroom teachers/librarian if interested)
• Presenting to a class as an "expert" in a particular field relating to an area of study (helping make real-world connections in the classroom)
• Driving for field trips and/or assisting with supervision on field trips
• Attending special events put on by the school or by individual classes​
